Phase 2 Debris Removal

Phase 2 of fire debris removal is being coordinated and managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. A Right of Entry form is required if you want the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to do work at no out-of-pocket cost to you. Those opting out should also submit the form to avoid delaying work in their communities.

Crews contracted by the Army Corps of Engineers operate an excavator and hose to clear fire debris from a private property.
A one-stop resource shop for permits is set up at the Altadena Disaster Recovery Center.

Rebuilding

As debris clearance gets underway, residents can begin the rebuilding process and apply for permits. Construction cannot begin until the debris removal phase is completed, though residents who wish to rebuild are encouraged to apply for the necessary permits as soon as they are ready to.
